Privacy Policy

OnPoint takes your privacy seriously. Please read the following to learn more about our privacy policy (the "Privacy Policy").

OnPoint values its readers and their concerns about privacy. To this end, OnPoint engages in consistent information practices and uses its best efforts to make clear disclosures regarding those practices. This Privacy Policy is a part of that effort. In general, OnPoint does not collect or share your personally identifying information.

What does this Privacy Policy cover?

This Privacy Policy applies to the collection, use, storage, and disclosure of user information by OnPoint Digital. We will clearly disclose any exceptions to the Privacy Policy prior to collecting any information from our users.

OnPoint may decide to modify or amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post any changes or new language here.

What information does OnPoint collect?

OnPoint collects personal information from any users who choose to contact OnPoint via the Website, and may collect cookies.

How does OnPoint use the information it collects?

Personal Information. OnPoint may obtain access to your name, e-mail address, and other contact information when you provide your name or return contact information in a request for information or in other submissions made by you through OnPoint’s Website. OnPoint uses contact information provided in connection with these submissions only to respond to the submission. This information is not stored by OnPoint after the response is complete and is not shared with any third parties.

Use of Cookies. Like many companies, OnPoint may collect information about online behavior on its Website using cookies. The information contained within cookies provides us with an anonymous way to monitor how we are doing and to look for ways to improve our website and services. Cookies may also allow us to deliver a better and more personalized service by identifying users making return visits as well as which sites our repeat visitors are coming from, so that we can place more advertising on these sites. The cookies we use contain identification information that enables us to see how our users are interacting with our site, how frequently they are returning, and other patterns of browsing behavior. We also use our cookies to let us know if we are delivering quality products and services. The cookies we use do not contain any personally identifiable information.

Is data stored by OnPoint secure?

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of information, OnPoint has physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information it collects online.

General Data Protection Regulations ("GDPR")

OnPoint has updated our Website as well as all of our core commercial software offerings to conform with recent privacy standards being adopted globally such as the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulations that went into effect for our global customers as of May 25, 2018. GDPR is primarily focused on protecting the privacy of EU "data subjects" accessing cloud-based applications and services like those our company provides to our enterprise customers. All OnPoint customers can elect to configure and implement these GDPR services in support of their own data privacy policies and best practices.

Mobile Location Information

OnPoint Digital's CellCast Mobile Application can be configured to utilize a learner's mobile device location information when an enterprise chooses to enable location-based services for their defined enterprise for a more secure learning experience. In those cases, precise geo-location coordinates are used to disable access to the CellCast application unless the user is within a predetermined radius of a defined location associated with their account. All location information is solely used by the mobile application to grant users access to the app while in range and those coordinates are not exposed to users either.
